VIDEO: Air France HR director attacked and stripped naked by employees!
The scene is surreal: Xavier Broseta, Air France's HR director, was physically attacked by protesting employees this Monday, October 5, while the group's management announced the elimination of 2900 positions following a restructuring plan.
While a Central Works Council was being held this morning at Air France headquarters, around a hundred employees invaded the meeting room and manhandled the human resources director, Xavier Broseta. The HR manager fled the committee and ended up shirtless after having his shirt torn off by angry employees. He had to be evacuated by security. The director of Air France at Orly, Pierre Plissonnier, also evacuated after his shirt was torn by demonstrators.
Air France management indicated that a “complaint will be filed for aggravated violence”, in a press release sent to AFP. While Alain Vidalies, the Secretary of State for Transport, declared that this violence was unacceptable, Prime Minister Manuel Valls said he was “scandalized” and insisted on providing his support to the management of Air France.
