FC Porto pioneers a new era: launch of public transparency portal

While the lack of transparency and democracy have been pointed out in recent weeks within the Professional Football League (LFP) in France, FC Porto (Portugal) is innovating. With the launch of a public transparency portal. The supporters are won over. The kings of swindling, a little less so.

André Villas-Boas does not disappoint. The new president of FC Porto (and former coach of theOM) has chosen transparency. In his public statements, he does not avoid the problems or the difficult decisions to be made. And in fact, he is at the head of a strong idea: to implement a transparency portal.

This platform will provide public access to transfer amounts, to wages of the various members of the club, to sports committees, to dividends and other financial data of the club, through documents on infrastructure, debts and everything that the fans of the club would like to know to verify its good management.
