According to information from Le Parisien this morning, a costed proposal was made by the city of Paris to PSG for the purchase of the Parc des Princes. Secret discussions have reportedly taken place since the start of the year between the management of Paris-Saint-Germain and the general staff of the city of Paris to define the price of the Porte de Saint-Cloud stadium.

According to Le Parisien, the Paris town hall would have submitted a sales figure of less than 100 million euros. The owners of PSG have not yet followed up.

“Tenant” of the Parc des Princes since November 2013, PSG benefits from a 30-year operating agreement and has committed 75 million euros for the renovation of the stadium in preparation for Euro 2016. The Qataris also plan to increase the capacity of the Park to 60 spectators.

But at the end of the day, Anne Hidalgo completely denied wanting to sell the Parc des Princes to Paris Saint Germain! “There is no discussion” added Paris City Hall. In a press release, the city assures that the transfer of the Park would involve cumbersome administrative procedures.
