Invited this Tuesday on “4 Truths” on France 2, Arnaud Rousseau, president of the National Federation of Farmers' Unions (FNSEA), once again expressed the uneasiness that the agricultural world is going through and the “absence of a solution on the part of the executive”.

A few days before the opening of the Agricultural Show and in a context of agricultural crisis, he indicated that it was not desirable "for the President of the Republic to wander through the aisles (...) He must bring answers”. It is on this occasion that Emmanuel Macron will receive Arnaud Rousseau as well as the Young Farmers at the Élysée today.

The President of the FNSEA also returned to the subject of food sovereignty, he was very critical of the “non-compliance with standards for low-cost imported food products”. “That today we import a third of our food”. “We lost almost 20% of farmers between 2010 and 2020,” he also lamented.
