Kendji Girac releases the video for “Si seulement…”, the first glimpse of his new album

Kendji Girac marks a decisive turning point in his career with the release of the video clip If only…, first extract from his new album Live…, scheduled for October 4, 2024. After releasing the song on August 30, the singer now presents a poignant video that reflects the personal trials he has gone through. In this clip, signed by Vianney and Renaud Rebillaud, Kendji appears at the seaside, symbolizing a rebirth after the turmoil.

This title has a special meaning for Kendji, who nearly lost his life last April during an argument with his partner, during which he inflicted a gunshot wound on himself. Deeply affected by this event, the singer expressed his desire to reconnect with himself, declaring that he wanted to "become the boy he was deep down". The release of this album, ten years after his meteoric rise in The Voice, seems to mark this long-awaited return to simplicity and sincerity.

Live…, his sixth album, also celebrates a decade of success. Composed largely by Vianney and Renaud Rebillaud, it highlights collaborations with artists such as Louane, Ycare and Emma Peters. Kendji Girac thus seems ready to begin a new chapter in his career, marked by maturity and resilience.
