Gims files complaint against Booba for harassment, an investigation is opened
Rapper Gims and his partner, Demdem, have filed a complaint against Booba for "moral harassment" and "cyberbullying," leading to the opening of an investigation in Paris. According to the plaintiffs, Booba allegedly initiated a series of attacks on social media over the past six years, directly targeting Gims and his partner, and encouraging his fans to participate. The complaint, filed at the end of August, describes a "media nightmare" that allegedly degraded the daily lives of the couple and their children.
The couple accuses Booba of continuous harassment through insulting messages, particularly against Gims' physique and degrading remarks towards Demdem. The song "Dolce Camara", in which Booba attacks Gims' partner, is cited in the complaint as a "highlight" of this cyberbullying campaign. Gims' lawyers point out that these acts have also caused a significant loss of income for the couple.
Booba, for his part, refutes the accusations through his lawyers, who defend his right to freedom of artistic expression. They believe that the lyrics of his songs should not be subject to legal proceedings. However, the rapper is already under investigation in another similar case involving influencer agent Magali Berdah.
