Finally, Claude Lelouch's latest film, will be released in theaters on November 13, 2024. This feature film, which mixes comedy-drama and romance, tells the story of Lino, a lawyer who decides to escape his daily life and his relationships to seek meaning in his life in a world that he perceives as increasingly chaotic. The main character, played by Kad Merad, experiences a profound questioning that leads him to discover that "everything that happens to us is for our own good." Alongside him, Elsa Zylberstein and Michel Boujenah play notable roles, in a cast that also includes Françoise Fabian, Sandrine Bonnaire, Barbara Pravi and Raphaël Mezrahi.

Claude Lelouch, an iconic filmmaker of French cinema, has made his 51st feature film here, a film in which he returns to his love of improvisation and natural acting. "We give too much importance to what we want to say, what counts is what we're going to say at the last moment," explains Lelouch about his method. The director famous for A man and a woman et The Ones and the Others continues to explore themes that are dear to him, such as chance and destiny. This film also marks a return to Lelouch's cinematic references, which include nods to his past works, thus completing a sort of cinematic loop.

The soundtrack, composed by Ibrahim Maalouf and enriched with original songs by Didier Barbelivien, gives a musical dimension to the film, an essential element in Lelouch's filmography.
