Douglas Emhoff, the husband of Vice President Kamala Harris, participated in a memorial ceremony on Rue des Rosiers in Paris. This event was intended to honor the victims of the August 9, 1982 attack, which targeted the Jewish community.
As a reminder, rue des Rosiers is located in the Jewish quarter of Marais, often called “le Pletzl”. It is a historic street that has retained its traditional ambiance, with Jewish shops and restaurants.
