BEHIND THE SCENES – Benjamin Castaldi puts on a show during rehearsals for Omar Harfouch’s ‘Concerto for Peace’
While the 'Concerto for Peace' by pianist and composer Omar Harfouch will be performed tomorrow at 19:30 p.m. at the Théâtre des Champs-Élysées, many personalities have come to attend the rehearsals.
Among them, Richard Orlinski and Benjamin Castaldi. The host, at the helm of the Europe 2 morning show this season, went to La Seine musicale to attend a rehearsal of Omar Harfouch and the Béziers Méditerranée orchestra.
In great shape and in a jovial mood, Benjamin Castaldi amused the audience by humorously transforming himself, for a few minutes, into a tyrannical supervisor of the musicians. The host provoked hilarity from the audience and from another guest, Richard Orlinski, by teasing the orchestra, launching derisively: "My ears are bleeding" or, "I did not come to suffer", before playing a few notes on the piano and giving a warm hug to Omar Harfouch.
A welcome moment of relaxation and laughter before the big deadline of a highly anticipated Concerto which is already causing a lot of talk...
