Concerto for Peace: Emmanuelle Seigner attends the rehearsals of Omar Harfouch and his orchestra
It is an event that has been much talked about for several weeks: the 'Concerto for Peace', which will be given this Wednesday September 18st View Omar Harfouch and the Béziers Méditerranée orchestra at the Théâtre des Champs-Élysées, is THE event not to be missed. More than a thousand people are expected, and many personalities from the world of media, politics and culture will be present.
A rather unusual and rare fact: even before it has taken place, Omar Harfouch's concert is already attracting a great crowd. In the last few days, several personalities have come to attend the concerto rehearsals, including Gilles Verdez, Benjamin Castaldi, Ibrahim Maalouf and Anthony Delon. The latest: Emmanuelle Seigner.
While Omar Harfouch and the Béziers Méditerranée orchestra, conducted by Mathieu Bonnin, were rehearsing at The Seine Musicale, in Boulogne-Billancourt (92), the famous actress came to support the musicians.
During her visit, Emmanuelle Seigner was able to appreciate la Oriental Fantasy, a composition by Omar Harfouch, whose performance will be one of the highlights of the concert on September 18. A concert during which the pianist and composer intends to send a message of peace, a cause that is close to his heart and that he defends tirelessly after a childhood spent in Lebanon under the bombs. A cause that also recently earned him the Best Achievement for Peace Award from the hands of Kevin Costner at the last Venice Film Festival…
As a reminder, after his concert in Paris, Omar Harfouch will continue his tour by performing the same composition at United Nations in Geneva, before performing at the Vatican in Italian Parliament in Shanghai and in other countries…
