“Band of Corsican whores”: an Auxerre player slips up on Periscope (video)
On the sidelines of the round of 16 of the Gambardella Cup, a video posted by a young AJA player on Periscope, and relayed by AC Ajaccio on its Twitter account, caused controversy.
Would Waly Diouf have tried to imitate Serge Aurier with his comments on Periscope, the live video application? On the sidelines of the round of 13 of the Gambardella Cup (lost on penalties by Auxerre in Ajaccio, this Sunday March XNUMX), comments made by the young AJA player before the match caused controversy.
In the video, taken from the official AC Ajaccio Twitter account, we see Waly Diouf walking in Ajaccio with his teammates then ask the Corsicans “ places to go out to eat and have a little fun ». Then the player slips up by saying a flowery sentence: “ Bunch of whores, Corsicans! »

The management of the Auxerre club immediately apologized in a press release to condemn Waly Diouf's comments: “ The video contains shocking and unacceptable remarks towards the Corsicans that the AJA does not share in any way. The players and their management will be summoned upon their return for this behavior and these odious comments. » If this video and these comments will not have the same repercussions as the Serge Aurier affair, there is no doubt that sanctions will be taken against the young player, trained in Lyon, and who came to strengthen the ranks of AJ Auxerre last summer.
