Titan accident: Paul-Henri Nargeolet's family is demanding $50 million!
The family of French deep-sea explorer Paul-Henri Nargeolet, nicknamed "Mister Titanic", has filed a lawsuit against the company OceanGate, accusing the latter of "gross negligence" and demanding $50 million (more than 45 million euros) in damages before the American courts. This claim follows the implosion of the submersible Titan, which occurred on June 18, 2023, which cost the lives of 5 people, including Paul-Henri Nargeolet.
The family of the explorer, who had devoted his life to visiting the wreck of the Titanic, therefore filed a complaint for "wrongful death" against OceanGate, the operator of the submarine, believing that the accident was not not a fatality but was due to serious negligence. The plaintiffs include Stockton Rush, the American boss and founder of OceanGate Expeditions, as well as other figures involved in the expedition
